R DYLAN STEWART, BA, RMT

Having lived in Nova Scotia his entire life until 2022, Robert “Dylan” Stewart graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) following completion of the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program in 2014. From there, he continued his education and received a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Marys University with a dual major of Anthropology and Religious Studies in 2022. After that, he continued his training in Human Resources and Project Management at George Brown College in Toronto. Now, he is back home and readily accepting new patients for Mobile Massage and in-clinic treatments at Massage Experts in both Halifax and Dartmouth locations.
 
Dylan has a great interest in treating all conditions, especially sports medicine, incorporating a whole-body approach in treatment, and using many modalities and techniques.  He has additional training in treating those suffering from addictions and in treating troubled youth. Dylan's main goal while treating is to focus on the person as a whole and incorporate self-healing into massage. He believes this is how he can help facilitate the patient on their personal healing journey.
 
Dylan has created a safe space for all, with his clinics main focus on serving the LGBTQ2A+ communities in and around Kjipuktuk (Halifax). Dylan has training in Guasha, Cupping Therapy, Indian Head Massage, as well as the Usui branch of Reiki (Shoden), and Jadestone Therapy. Additionally, he has additional coursework in Ethics, Crisis Management, and other pastoral subjects which are not necessarily related to Massage Therapy. He is a member in good standing of the Massage Therapists Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).
